We had the very great pleasure of photographing the wedding of Kelly and Andy at St. Mary’s Church in Acton, Cheshire followed by the wedding breakfast and reception at the beautiful Dorfold Hall, a family owned Jacobean stately home built in 1616. All the more special for Kelly and Andy was the fact that these were the first wedding celebrations at Dorfold Hall, a new venue for weddings in Nantwich, Cheshire.

We were back at the beautiful Rookery Hall Hotel and Spa to photograph the wedding of Lydia and Andrew. Tina was at the hotel to photograph the bridal party preparations while Simon headed off to Weston to photograph All Saints Church ahead of the ceremony and meet up with Andrew and his groomsmen at The White Lion pub.

The quirky boutique hotel Oddfellows in Chester was the venue for the beautiful Sunday wedding of Kirsty and Craig. The Bride and Groom had wanted something a little bit different for their wedding day and the very unusual décor at Oddfellows was perfect!

We had the very great pleasure of providing the wedding photography for Jenny and Karl at the beautiful Abbeywood Estate and Gardens, a 45 acre family home nestling in the Delamere countryside. Jenny’s bridal preparations were held in the wonderful setting of the Cottage set in the woods that surround Abbeywood Gardens. As usual Tina photographed the majority of the bridal prep while Simon was busy photographing some establishing photos for the book in the fantastic gardens. Simon also photographed the Groomsmen ahead of the ceremony.

Wedding Photography: Thornton Manor – Sam and Ken

We were at the wonderful Thornton Manor country house to photograph the wedding celebrations of Sam and Ken. The couple were officially married in Florida in the United States and wanted to hold a celebration ceremony here in the UK. The day ran as a normal wedding day with the bridal preparations being held at Thornton Manor while Ken and the guests arrived ahead of the ceremony. The ceremony was held downstairs in the early Georgian dining room and was conducted by Ken’s father.

We were back at the popular Hunters Lodge Hotel for the wedding of Angela and Mark. As usual the day started with photographing the bridal preparations at Hunters Lodge. Tina is the bridal prep specialist so was with the bride ahead of the ceremony. Meanwhile Simon was busy photographing the ceremony room as well as the Groom with his Groomsmen and the wedding rings.

We were back at the stunning surroundings of Crewe Hall for the wedding of Phinit and Glynn in the Drawing Room. Ahead of the ceremony the bridal preparations were in the Royal Suite. Tina was with the bride, Phinit, while Simon was with the Groom who also got ready in the hotel at Crewe Hall.

Wedding Photography: The Plough Inn, Eaton – Becky and Richard

Simon J. Newbury Photography were at The Plough Inn in Eaton for the wedding of Becky and Richard. The historic 17th century inn boasts a beautiful rustic barn which makes for a wonderful location for wedding celebrations in Cheshire.

We are pleased to say we will be exhibiting our wedding books and various wedding products at the Wedding Open Day at Stapeley House on Sunday January 10th.
