Bluedot Festival 2018 – Photo Gallery
Simon headed over to Jodrell Bank to photograph the four day music and science Bluedot Festival. Thursday night saw the return of Manchester’s Hallé Orchestra who played the score to the BBC’s Blue Planet. Wayne Coyne and the Flaming Lips headed back to Cheshire to headline on the Friday in the shadow of the giant Lovell Telescope with their usual extravagant pomp including balloons, confetti and of course a giant inflatable robot! Saturday saw a host of acts across the festival stages including: FEHM, Nadine Shah, Gary Numan and Future Islands. Professor Richard Dawkins also battled the music to discuss his latest book. Sunday was headlined by The Chemical Brothers with performances from Acid Mothers Temple, Shattered Ankles, Crazy P, Future Get Down, Hello Cosmos, Little Dragon and Vessels. Comedian Gary Delaney also appeared.
