Wedding Photography: Midland Hotel, Manchester – Anji and Tom

We were at the beautiful Grade II listed Midland Hotel in the heart of the City of Manchester for the wedding of Anji and Tom. This exquisite venue has hosted Kings, Queens and Presidents down the years since it opened in 1903 and makes a wonderful backdrop for wedding celebrations. As well as a host of beautiful rooms and photo locations inside the hotel, just outside in the bustling Manchester City centre there are no end of great photo opportunities.

Anji and Tom held their wedding ceremony in the Stanley Suite after Anji’s bridal preparations in the hotel. After the ceremony it was time for confetti on the red carpet at the front of the Midland.

While the guests enjoyed the drinks reception, the happy couple headed up the road for a special cocktail at Revolución de Cuba, a place which holds special significance for the two. Some quick photos after the cocktails and we headed back to The Midland Hotel to rejoin the guests ahead of the wedding breakfast in The Trafford Suite.

After the speeches and the wedding breakfast we headed outside for some couple photos with the Bride and Groom at the closeby Manchester Library building and the area around the Midland.

After all the photos it was back inside for the cutting of the cake and the first dance.
